According to data released by the China’s customs, China’s exports of seamless steel pipes totaled 469,284 tons in May, up by 2% from a month ago but falling by 2% year on year.
In the first five months of this year, the country’s exports of seamless steel pipes totaled 2.22 million tons, increasing by 10% year on year.
Among them, 896,040 tons were oil/gas line pipes, up by 9%; those of oil country tubular goods were at 984,715 tons, increasing by 20%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
In the given period of time, the country’s output of seamless steel pipes totaled 12.5 million tons, rising by 9% year on year.
