Jamba Juice, a retailer of freshly-squeezed juice, announced today that it is deploying software from ArrowStream, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider for food service supply chains to further improve and optimize the company’s spend programs and partnerships.
ArrowStream, based in Chicago, IL, provides SaaS solutions like ArrowStream OnDemand, that allow food service companies to manage supply chain systems, accurately audit and analyze spend and inventory, and automate other related processes.
The arrangement between the two companies is expected to significantly enhance and simplify Jamba Juice's supply chain processes and result in cost-savings. "We are excited to engage ArrowStream as our supply chain software provider," said Arnaud Joliff, Jamba VP, Supply Chain and Operations Services. "Their industry-recognized leadership and end-to-end solutions will not only enhance our supply chain management but will also help us improve COGs and profitability through OnDemand's comprehensive auditing capabilities."
"OnDemand will help Jamba Juice centralize and manage key performance indicators within their supply chain, enabling a faster, data-driven decision-making organization," said Jeff Dorr, ArrowStream Chief Customer Officer. "We are pleased to be selected as one of Jamba Juice's strategic partners and to help them continue their profitability growth and simplify their supply chain processes."
The agreement is part of Jamba's continued cost-improvement and process simplification efforts. The Company is also making progress on its recently-announced refranchising and G&A reduction initiatives.
