Turkey's Basic Metal Increased by 1.8 Percent Compared to April 2013.

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in April this year Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production increased by one percent compared to March, while the calendar adjusted index was up 4.6 percent compared to April 2013.

In April, the production index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey increased by 0.6 percent month on month and increased by 1.8 percent compared to April 2013.

The output index for the manufacture of fabricated metal products in April decreased by 4.1 percent month on month and was down by 3.7 percent year on year.
