RPC Containers UKSC and RPC Containers Market Rasen have created new custom molded tester pots for global paints and coatings company AkzoNobel’s Cuprinol Garden Shades range.
RPC UKSC blow molded the container in 100% recycled HDPE, while RPC Market Rasen injection molded the cap and applicator brush stem by using 50% recycled PP, packagingeurope.com reported.
The new pots, which are said to demonstrate the sustainability strategy of the Netherlands-based company, have been produced in charcoal grey color.
AkzoNobel technical packaging manager Stuart Beecher, commenting on the new containers, said, "The incorporation of PCR into our containers is an important part of our strategy but is also vital that practicality and quality are not compromised in any way."
