According to China’s National Bureau of Statistics, total iron ore inventory at 30 major Chinese ports amounted to 73.14 million tonne, down by 670,000 tonne WoW, constituting the ninth consecutive WoW.
Meanwhile, the total iron ore inventory on the given date was 22.46 million tonne lower compared to the same time last year.
As of December 28th, at Chinese ports inventories of iron ore from Australia, Brazil and India decreased by 320,000 tonne, 220,000 tonne and 120,000 tonne respectively, all on WoW basis.
