Most Dodge owners work to prevent holes from forming in the sides of their van, but this Canadian artist Kim Adam's illuminating Dodge Ram Laser Cut Auto Lamp reveals the inner light from within.
Created for the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche art festival in Toronto, Canada, the Auto Lamp is made from a '85 Dodge Ram Van. Through a series of conversions this Dodge Ram's style has been updated with an array of punctured swirls that allow for the light from within to seep from out in a shimmering play on light and shadow.
This beacon of inspiration for owners of run-down white vans that have lost hope on the re-beuatification of their Dodge, might reflect upon the Auto Lamp's design as a moving "oversixed night light" or even " a forever land bound lighthouse."
