Raisepack is designed specifically for FMCG and health and beauty markets, it was invented in America and is adaptable across a range of formats.
The heart of the design enables the product to be pushed up, or down, the packaging, reducing waste and mess.
It can also act as a controlled dispense mechanism for safe portion control.
Sauce PM is looking to engage European packaging machinery manufacturers that can assist in the development of this innovation.
Neil Shackleton, managing director of Sauce PM, said he is actively seeking packaging machinery manufacturers to develop Raisepack.
"Current packaging formats are doing little to alleviate product wastage. Many packaging examples cater to the needs of the modern ‘on the go’ consumer, focusing on ease of opening. However, research suggests that another big consumer frustration is the inability to use all the product contents.”
He told Packaging News that Raisepack can eliminate product waste, removing the need for scrapers, knifes, fingers, and in some markets applicator guns.
"We plan to personalise this to whatever format that clients are looking for. Our research shows there is up to 25% more product available from each of these items. Provisional cost models are comparitive and through consumer utilisation of product and in some cases, removal of secondary extraction/application tools, could generate long term cost benefits. We are also in development of refil options to further enhance the portfolio.”
