Backlight unit (BLU) maker Radiant Opto-Electronics has reported consolidated revenues of NT$23.308 billion (US$778 million), gross margin of 13.38%, net profit of NT$1.427 billion and net EPS of NT$3.07 for first-half 2014.
For the second quarter, Radiant posted consolidated revenues of NT$10.741 billion, gross margin of 13.24%, net profit of NT$642 million and net EPS of NT$1.38.
Radiant shipped 22.586 million BLUs in the second quarter: 20.598 million units for notebooks, 1.799 million for monitors, 139,000 for TVs and 50,000 for other devices.
