Rust-Oleum has introduced a line of solutions for fixing leaks with LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating in spray, LeakSeal Silicone Tape, and coming soon, LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating in a brushable version. These three products offer protective barriers that prevent leaks and cracks, providing a flexible water-tight seal that seals moisture penetration and therefore, rust and corrosion. Now when an unexpected leak emerges homeowners have a quick solution to prevent further damage, according to the company.
The Rust-Oleum LeakSeal line includes:
• LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating in Spray - a unique, high-build formula designed to fill cracks, gaps and holes. LeakSeal is the ideal choice for do-it-yourselfers to use to seal skylights, roofs, ductwork, vinyl, plastic, metal roofs and vents. It is also great for use on gutters, downspouts, pipes, PVC, metal buildings and sheds, flashing, shingles, concrete foundations and more. LeakSeal is extremely flexible allowing the coating to fill and protect surfaces year round, even in the harshest weather conditions. Leak Seal spray is available in Black, Clear, White, Brown and Aluminum.
• LeakSeal Silicone Tape - a durable, self-fusing silicone tape that wraps tightly around virtually any cylindrical object to seal cracks and leaks, creating a temporary solution until the pipe, hose or wire can be replaced. It has outstanding tensile strength with the ability to endure up to 700 PSI along with exceptional electrical insulation of up to 8,000 volts. LeakSeal Silicone Tape can withstand nearly any environmental condition and resists heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Available in Black and Translucent, this tape is easy to apply and even easier to remove, leaving no sticky residue on the substrate.
• LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating in Brush - A rubberized brushable product that seals surfaces from cracks and leaks. This higher viscosity formula creates a heavy build quickly in order to fill the necessary gaps and cracks on the surface.
This ultra-durable, water-tight coating is the ideal product for do it-yourselfers to use on larger-scale problem areas. It is also perfect for indoor applications in small or tough-to-reach areas. Available sizes include quart and half-pint in Black and Crystal Clear.
