Reportedly, Indian State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (Sail) said that it produced 3.2 million tons of saleable steel in April-June, rising by 6% year on year.
In the given period of time, the company’s output of value-added steel products totaled 1.28 million tons, up by 4% year on year.
Meanwhile, it’s known that SAIL is commissioning its plants to raise production capacity of hot metal to 19 million tons per year by next year from the current 14 million tons per year.
