Coca-Cola Great Britain has unveiled new Diet Coke limited-edition can designs, as part of its efforts to attract more customers to the brand.
The company has designed new promotional packs, Diet Coke and Diet Coke Caffeine Free, for the brand’s 4.1 million weekly drinkers and pull new drinkers.
The new promotional packs are available in various formats, including 330ml cans, multipacks, 1.75L and 500ml PET bottles.
Coca-Cola will offer the promotional packs for the customers between 11 September and 22 October.
Coca-Cola Great Britain senior brand manager Natalie Whitehead-Farr said: “The new packs have been designed to appeal to Diet Coke drinkers, illustrating their passion for travel, music, beauty and fashion, and giving inspiration for how they might spend their £5,000, should they win.
“With such an incredibly loyal audience, it is great to be able to reward them in this way, and continue what has already been a full and engaging programme for the brand this year.”
In July, Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) announced plans to increase the use of recycled plastic in all of its bottles by 50%, as part of the UK’s new sustainable packaging strategy.
The firm’s Great Britain (GB) business unit will work with local and national partners to increase the collection of packaging waste for recycling.
CCEP intends to increase the recovery and recycling of drinks packaging, in addition to reducing littering in the country.
The new strategy has been framed to focus on three major areas, including plans to double the amount of recycled plastic in its PET bottles over the next three years from the current average of 25% to 50% by 2020.
