Anti-Dumping Proceedings Have Been in Progress

In the anti-dumping proceedings which have been in progress since the end of September involving hardwood-plywood imports from China, the US Department of Commerce, set provisional countervailing duties (CVD) of varying amounts on 27 February. Those duties have to be paid on imports of hardwood plywood from China in the form of a cash deposit with the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency until a final decision has been made. In a next step, the US Department of Commerce will probably also define provisional anti-dumping duties on imported Chinese hardwood plywood by 29 April.
