Italian car maker Fiat is planning to launch Viaggio car in China in September 2012.
The new model will be powered by the1.4 litre T-Jet engine, which will deliver two power outputs, including 120 horse power (hp) and 150hp, mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a dual-clutch transmission.
The new model has similar features as on the company's Dodge Dart model, including the platform named as the CUSW or Compact US Wide.
It is 4,679 mm long, 1,850 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2,708 mm, and is claimed to be the company's the new C-segment benchmark.
According to Fiat, the new four-door, five passenger car is also anticipated to be powered by a MultiAir unit delivering 160hp and 184lb-ft of torque, similar as in the company's Dodge Dart.
