Grafpol Procures New Digital Label Press From Trojanlabel

Self-adhesive and in-mold labels producer Grafpol B.M. Meszkes has procured a new digital label press from Trojanlabel, represented by HKM in Poland.

The new TrojanTwo digital label press will complement Grafpol's existing flexo and offset printing presses.

This user-friendly mini digital label press is capable of running at speeds of 18 m/min and up to 1600 x 1600 dpi.

The TrojanTwo includes sophisticated algorithms and inline print head maintenance, enabling both short and long runs, and consistent print quality with vivid and accurate color, the company claims.

Grafpol CEO Boguslaw Meszkes said: "We decided on the TrojanTwo press because of its reasonable price, high print quality, and the advantages compared to the existing solutions in our print house, especially with regards to short runs and personalization.

"the market is changing - digital printing is on the rise, customers are demanding high print quality and very short runs. I see the next 3-5 years being very important and successful for digital technology, as previous issues like high material costs, clogged nozzles etc. have been solved, and that is exactly why we have chosen to invest now."

HKM commercial director Zbigniew Karapuda said: "The product is very good and in high demand. Digital printing meets the need for smaller circulations and increased label customization, and for that purpose, the reasonably priced TrojanTwo is a great high-quality solution."

Based in Poland, Grafpol is involved in flexographic printing, silkscreen printing and sheet-fed offset printing.

The company's self-adhesive and in-mold labels are used for a wide range of consumer products.
