While the European Union (EU) has settled disputes over dumping and subsidization of China-made PV products with the China government voluntarily setting a floor export price and annual export quota, the EU is likely to launch further investigations, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
Germany-based PV maker SolarWorld AG has collected evidence concerning some China-based PV makers' measures to evade the limits, mainly through obtaining false certificates of production from makers in third-party countries including Malaysia and India, and giving kickbacks to Europe-based buyers to substantially reduce prices, the sources said.
