Taiwan's Polystar Exhibits Two Recycling Machines at Plastivision India 2017

Taiwan-based Polystar has exhibited its two recycling machines at Plastivision India 2017 event.

The company showcased Repro-One one-step recycling machine, and Repro Air compact and air-cooling film recycling machine at the event.

The Repro-One recycling machine features heavy duty single-shaft shredder, which is directly connected with the extruder pelletizer.

It will allow PP raffia/PP non-woven manufacturer to process their rejected raffia waste such as tapes, fabric, jumbo big bags and lumps generated from in-house production.

For immediate reprocessing, the recycled pellets can be put directly back into tape extrusion lines.

According to the company, the recycled pellets can be loaded in high percentages and still produce better fabric with good tensile strength and elongation, helping to eliminate the requirement of pre-cutting/pre-shredding large-sized, thick or bulky waste.

Blown film and cast film producers can use Repro Air machine to recycle HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE film scraps, including mono and multi-layer.

The machine will also be used for recycling of start-up or changeover film rolls edge-trim waste and T-shirt bag bundles from in-house production. It will also help to recycle lightly-printed film into quality and uniformed pellets.

Repro Air, which does not require any water consumption, can fit next to or in between blown film machines.

Hot die face pelletizer produces dries pellet, which can be placed directly back into the production line for immediate reprocessing.

Polystar’s recycling machinery can be used in packaging film applications, including PP raffia, woven bag, FIBC jumbo bag, non-woven bag, cement bag, pipe and bottles waste material processing.
