The BVCA event is part of a year-long process run by the organisation. On the night, they presented Eveden with Exit Management Team of the Year in recognition of LDC’s sale of Eveden to Japan lingerie market leader Wacoal. This new ownership meant that, in January 2013, the business changed its name from the Eveden Group to Wacoal Eveden.
At the BVCA ceremony, Eveden had further reason to celebrate as Chief Executive Tracy Lewis was named Chief Executive of the Year. This comes on the heels of other wins for Tracy, as she was also recently honoured in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for Best Consumer Product Business in the Midlands, as well as UK Private Equity-Backed Entrepreneur of the Year.
Eveden’s award wins now put them in contention for the national BVCA Awards, which are due to take place in London this July.
