ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, a Florida-based fine wine and spirits retailers, has partnered with document management solutions and services provider DataBank to deploy OnBase, an enterprise content management (ECM) solution developed by Hyland Software.
With the new software ABC aims to convert paper files into digital format and thereby reduce space and maintain compliance standards especially in Accounts Payable and Human Resources departments.
The ECM solution allows departments to store single digital copies of information at one location, which can be easily tracked and retrieved. It also ensures the safety of files and important business data.
DataBank software solutions vice president David Godiksen said ABC needed a solution to improve its file management and provide its staff with a secure and instant access to important information.
"Implementing an ECM solution in ABC Fine Wine and Spirits eliminated the high cost of storing paper and finding documents, also allowing for stronger security, tracking and improved compliance," Godiksen added.
"Moving forward, ECM will become a critical part of ABC's business strategy to increase efficiency, equipping them to drive both businesses forward."
