UK-based Amcor Flexibles Capsules unveils Stelvin Inside, a new range of four different liners for wine.
Amcor Flexibles Capsules general manager Nicolas Freynet said the company has introduced its new Stelvin screw caps for wine makers, an up to date solution to meet the clear need for increased liner Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR) choice.
The new liners, consisting of PVDC (Polyvinylidene Chloride)-Free films, were developed by Amcor and manufactured exclusively by its development partner MGJ, a container seal specialist.
According to the company, each of the four new liners has a different OTR target which ensures low level of oxygen dispersions and allows for consistency from one bottle to the other to help both wine makers and consumers.
The four Stelvin Inside liners will be presented at the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, Sacramento, California, US.
Amcor Flexibles Capsules, part of the Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas business group, is a market provider specializing in the design and manufacture of overcaps and screw caps for wine, sparkling wine and spirits.
