Australia’s Sydney Harbour Bridge has been lit with more than one hundred thousand LEDs which are controlled by the public.
The Sydney-based lighting designer 32 Hundred Lighting created the installation onto the famous landmark’s western face, using 100,800 individual programmable LEDs. A software program with a touch screen interface let passers-by choose the bridge’s colours and lighting scenes.
The bridge was lit for the first time with LEDs for June’s festival of light and music Vivid Sydney (24-10 June).
