The Land Rover Defender LXV is a special edition model built to mark Land Rover’s 65th anniversary.
Based on the Land Rover Defender 90 hard-top model, the Defender LXV is powered by a 90kW/360Nm 2.2-litre diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The special edition is distinguished by its 16-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels, Santorini Black paintwork with contrasting Corris Grey roof, headlight surrounds and facia.
There are also several LXV decals, as well as an obligatory Union Jag flag located on the tailgate.
Inside, the Defender LXV gets a luxury makeover compared to its standard sibling,boasting full leather trim with hide covering the sports seats with LXV-embossed headrests and orange stitching, the steering wheel and centre storage compartment.
Land Rover will build just 65 of the Defender LXV Special Edition models, with Land Rover Australia yet to decide if it will take the vehicle.
UK pricing starts at £28,765 ($44,126).
