Shanghai International Children Baby Maternity Industry Expo (CBME China) has launched the 1st China Pavilion at ABC Kids Expo which is held from 15th to 18th October, 2013 in Las Vegas, USA. CBME China together with a few Chinese baby products suppliers were featured in this national pavilion showcasing their latest products and meeting potential partners in USA.
Launched in 2001 in Shanghai, China, CBME China is now the world’s largest sourcing event for children baby and maternity products. Riding on the success of CBME in China, CBME is now also in Turkey, India and Brazil. CBME aims to promote global trade in the booming markets of Europe, Middle East, Asia and South America.
CBME China has formed an alliance with ABC Kids Expo in January 2013, with the intent and goal of helping baby, children and maternity industry suppliers in China and USA to expand their businesses overseas, and aims to form a powerful catalyst to boost the baby, children and maternity industry as a whole.
As part of this alliance, ABC Kids Expo has launched USA Pavilion with 13 exhibitors showcasing 22 brands and came away with a very fruitful experience in CBME China 2013, which was held from 17th to 19th July in Shanghai. One of the exhibitors in USA Pavilion, Ms. Frederique Prou, International Business Development Consultant from Kittrich Corporation, stated “What a wonderful event! I have met wonderful potential partners. I was really impressed by the show and only wished to have had more time to cover the entire floor!”
“With the rapid growth of children baby and maternity products industry in China in recent years, more and more brands and manufacturers are starting to seek business opportunities outside of China once they are mature enough and qualified to compete in the international market. Some Chinese manufacturers has already showed their interest in the USA market when Larry Schur, President of the ABC Kids Expo introduced the USA market in his speech in ‘Expand Your Business Beyond Your Borders’ seminar during CBME China 2013.
“As Larry Schur stated in his presentation, attending trade shows is a good start in building brand awareness and seeking distributors and partners in the USA market.”, says Athena Gong, General Manager of CBME, “This is the first time we launched a China Pavilion in a partner’s event overseas. It was a great success. We are very glad to see the exhibitors have had a very good experience at the show and generated export opportunities as well.”
