Alternative Packaging Solution is all set to construct a new $2m packaging materials plant in Bugesera district, Eastern Province, Rwanda.
Alternative Packaging Solution manager Leon Sebutakirwa told The New Times that the company aims to provide a solution to the problem pertaining to inadequate packaging materials in the region.
"The feasibility study was done and we are now trying to solicit for funds and I am optimistic that by May, we shall have obtained the funds and immediately start construction," Sebutakirwa said.
The new plant will produce packaging materials that are environment-friendly. The products will be exported to regional countries as well.
