Industrial company Metso will be delivering about one thousand valves for Stora Enso's consumer board machine project in Guangxi, China.
The consumer board machine is part of Stora Enso's integrated mill project in China that the company is implementing in two phases.
The delivery from Metso comprises Neles ball valves, V-port segment valves and triple eccentric Neldisc butterfly valves for on-off and control applications.
The control valves come with Neles ND9000 series intelligent valve controllers that have the capability for advanced performance follow-up and can also be used for predictive maintenance planning activities.
Stora Enso that specialises in developing renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wood and paper has been working with Metso for a long time with the latter delivering its valve solutions to many of Stora Enso's plants globally.
