Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, has reported sales of 336,441 units in 2012 a 26% increase compared to 2011 in the US.
The company expects to continue the increase in future sales through all processes in product planning, development, marketing and service operations.
In the US, the annual sales of the Impreza went up by 148.9% to 68,175 units, the facelifted Outback and Legacy grew a 12.6% to 117,553 units and 11.2% to 47,127 units respectively.
The models including the Forester and WRX registered a 0.2% rise to 76,347 units and 1.3% rise to 13,624 units respectively against the 2011 sales, while the Subaru BRZ added 4,144 units and Subaru XV added 7,396 units to the 2012 sales in the US.
The company sold 31,003 units up by 14.9% from 2011 in Canada and reported sales of 40,189 units in 2012 up by 18.2% compared to 2011 in Australia.
