ACE USA has rolled out a new insurance product, known as ACE Public Entity Retained Limits Policy Endorsement, to offer integrated first-party pollution coverage for public entities.
The improved policy integrates public official liability with pollution liability coverage to include reimbursement for environmental cleanup costs, auto and mobile equipment upset and overturn, as well as fungi and mold coverage.
Designed to provide a comprehensive group of coverage in a single insurance solution, the new product is available for municipalities, counties, public schools, special districts, agencies and authorities, and utilities.
ACE Environmental Risk vice president Jon Peeples said the new product offers public sector clients a customized approach to addressing their environmental exposures associated with the day-to-day operations of their political subdivisions, agencies and authorities.
Important features of the policy enhancement includes sudden and accidental pollution coverage with time element and named perils, coverage for pesticides and herbicides, remediation expenses covered both on-site and off-site, auto and mobile equipment upset and overturn, including cargo.
ACE Environmental Risk delivers various environmental liability policies intended to minimize bottom-line impacts, and provide hands-on management for those liabilities.
Trading in 53 countries, ACE provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident supplemental health insurance, reinsurance, and life insurance to a diverse group of clients.
