Eco Chemical Attends 111th Annual American Wood Protection Association Meeting

Eco Chemical has announced its participation at this years’ American Wood Protection Association (AWPA) 111th Annual Meeting held in Asheville, NC from April 12- 14. The company will be in attendance to participate in a series of customer meetings and engagements, as well as the Supplier Showcase to exhibit its line of waterborne paints and stains for pressure treated products.

“The location of this year’s meeting in North Carolina is strategic in our efforts to make inroads with pressure treated lumber manufacturers in the Southeast,” explains Eco Chemical’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Jim Brady. “The coloration of wood in the Southeast and East Coast is growing in demand, and we believe that we have a tried and tested solution to meet the needs of demand in these new areas.”

Eco Chemical developed the first waterborne wood stain for the industry that was compatible with common treatment chemistries and could stand up to harsh manufacturing conditions while delivering a durable and attractive finish. Today, Eco Chemical remains the leading supplier of water-based wood stains and other coatings products to the pressure treating industry and other wood products manufacturing firms in western North America.
