Turkey exported 54,927 tons of wire rods in November, slumping by 31.7% from a month ago and decreasing by 30.3% year on year, according to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the country’s export revenues generated by wire rods totaled US$33 million in November, falling by 34.1% from the previous month and declining by 41.5% year on year. In the first 11 months of 2012, Turkey’s exports of wire rods amounted to 834,670 tons, falling by 17.4% year on year. In the given period of time, the country’s export values of wire rods totaled US$537 million, down by 23% year on year.
