Swedish food packaging and processing company Tetra Pak has announced the launch of its new portion pack, Tetra Brik Aseptic 200ml Edge with HeliCap, in the Middle East.
Arla Foods Group's Danya Foods has selected the new carton-based pack for its 'Puck' brand to make its foray into the evaporated milk market.
The new pack is said to match the existing Puck offering by Danya Foods allowing consumers to enjoy the taste in a new carton package with better functionality.
Tetra Pak Arabia marketing director Riccardo Castagnetti said the new portion pack has a different look and functional design.
"We are confident that Puck's choice of the new Tetra Brik Aseptic Edge 200ml carton package will be enthusiastically received by consumers and will raise the bar in terms of both differentiation and functionality," Castagnetti said.
In Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tetra Pak has a production facility equipped with latest packaging technologies, and during 2011 alone it supplied more than 6.8 billion packs in the region.
