Mpact Plastic Containers has introduced its new returnable transit packaging product 'Jumbo Bin' for agricultural market and general industry.
The new 528mm shallow bin can be used for storage and transportation of more delicate products such as stone fruit, avocados, tomatoes and sultanas including wine grapes.
Some of the key features and benefits of the new Jumbo Bin include four way forklift entry, smooth interior surface, durability, fully recyclable, safe and stable stacking, among others.
Mpact Plastic Containers managing director Loutjie de Jongh said the new product is a profitable plastic alternative to traditional wooden bin used in the agriculture sector.
"By improving and expanding Mpact's range of fit-for-purpose plastic packaging we are able to deliver a greater degree of certainty to our customers' businesses," Jongh added.
The company operates as a subsidiary of paper and plastics packaging producer Mpact.
