Weekly PV Highlights
There were 1,586 sub 50 kW PV installations registered during the week ending 12th May 2013, compared to 1,953 in the week ending 5th May 2013.
This now brings the total number of sub 50 kW solar PVs registered on the MCS database to just over 428,300.
Total capacity installed during the week ending 12th May 2013 was 6.5 MW compared to 8.6 MW for the week ending 5th May 2013. The overall increase in installed capacity is 0.4% with the level at the end of week ending 12th May 2013 standing at 1.52GW.
It is likely that the week ending 12th May 2013 would have been affected by the bank holiday Monday (6th May 2013).
On average for 2012 the 10-50kW band represented just under 2 per cent of all schemes under 50kW, while so far for 2013 the 10-50kW band averaged just under 3 per cent of registered installations under 50kW.
