Italy-based SIPA has introduced modified Sincro TriBloc filling machines, with an aim to allow hot fill for products such as juices with pulps as well as cold filled carbonated CSD drinks.
The machine, which incorporates within a single unit different functions of blowing, labeling and filling functions, has been changed considerably and will see piston filler replacing the labeling function, according to ferret.com.au.
The machine, which is available in either single or double stream technology, lets the juice and pulp to be dosed separately into juice drinks.
With the machine's single stream mechanism, the pulp and juice can be mixed together, which allows doing away with need for online dosing of the pulp and the double stream is dosed separately via the piston filler.
Sincro TriBloc filling machines handles liquids up to 95°C, which is said to maintain product quality.
SIPA, which is a provider of stretch blow molding machines for the production of PET bottles, is represented in Asia-Pacific by HBM Packaging & Plastics Technologies.
