Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fushun Special Steel Co., a subsidiary of Dongbei Special Steel Group, has issued its financial results for the first half of this year.
Accordingly, in the first six months the company achieved an operating revenue of RMB 2.833 billion ($0.46 billion), up 4.1 percent year on year, while its net profit totaled RMB 11.2469 million ($1.84 million), with an increase of 4.45 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the first half of the current year, Fushun Special Steel produced 341,200 mt of crude steel and 285,400 mt of finished steel, up 5.38 percent and 9.52 percent year on year, respectively.
Meanwhile, in the given period Fushun Special Steel's outputs of special steel and finished steel were respectively equivalent to 49.49 percent and 47.56 percent of the targeted output volumes for the full year.
