Mexico's Lenox Planned to Invest US$200 Million for Upgrading Its Steel Plant

Mexico's Industrias Lenox said that the company planned to invest US$200 million for upgrading its steel plant in the municipality of Linares, in the northeastern state of Nuevo Leon.

The new steel project has already been started and it’s expected the new equipment will be arriving soon.

Meanwhile, the new steel plant is designed the annual raw steel production capacity to 300,000 tons and it expects to be completed in October 2014 and begins to start the operation in early 2015.

In addition, the company will expects to increase its investment for upgrading the mill's capacity to 600,000 tons/ year of liquid steel.
