James Cropper Exhibits Sustainable Packaging Solutions at at Museum of Brands Exhibition

James Cropper, a UK-based paper products provider, is exhibiting its sustainable packaging solutions at Museum of Brands exhibition in London, UK.

The display, Packaging Innovation Series: Sustainable Packaging, in partnership with ThePackHub, is opened on 22 February.

At the event, the company is exhibiting its packaging solutions developed for Selfridges, Lush, Floral Street and GF Smith.

James Cropper provided its CupCycling technology to Selfridges and GF Smith. It is a recycling process that converts take-away cups into papers.

Selfridges is using the technology for recycling cups from its food hall and offices and produce paper to develop yellow shopping bags.

With the support of James Cropper, GF Smith has developed Extract range of papers, which are available in 10 colors. The papers are produced from 8oz cups.

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics has collaborated with James Cropper 3D Products for ethically sourced packaging, which can either be reused, recycled or composted.

The partnership used James Cropper’s Colourform fibre to develop a packaging for Lush’s solid bath oils from recycled coffee cup fibre.

Fragrance brand Floral Street has also used Colourform fibre to produce a sustainable packaging solution.

James Cropper 3D Products business director Matthew Miller said: “Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the impact that certain materials and manufacturing methods are having on the environment.

“As a result, brands from all industries are looking for sustainable ways to package their products that don’t compromise on design or quality.

Based in English Lake District, James Cropper offers paper and packaging solutions for brands of different sectors.

James Cropper’s paper division produces paper products under different brands such as Ambassador, Apollo, Black, Black Bowston, Carvetian Suede, Cocoa, Coffee, Comet, Dolcelicious, Elation, Khora, Kendal Drawing Cartridge, Kendal Laundry Tag and Kendaline.
