David Whalan has Adapted to Changes in the IT Industry for More than 20 Years
David Whalan, program manager of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services Australia, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in computer systems management.
Mr. Whalan has been in the IT industry for more 20 years, having joined the Department of Administrative Services Canberra in 1985 as a computer systems officer. Since then, he has performed most roles within IT, from programmer to program manager in various organizations. For the past six years he has served as program manager of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services Australia, where he is vested in all details of program and project management. This includes handling applications integration and running banking systems for the Bank of Queensland, which entails upgrades, enhancements and mergers.
Mr. Whalan received an associate degree in computer programming in 1984 from Southern Cross University. He is a member of the Australian Computer Society and the Program Management Institute. In the near future, Mr. Whalan will continue working with larger, more complex systems.
