Siegwerk is set to exhibit its ink solutions and services for label and packaging applications at this year’s Labelexpo Europe event.
The event will take place from 25 to 28 September in Brussels, Belgium.
Siegwerk provides a range of migration optimized inks, gloss and matte varnishes, as well as metallic inks for all printing processes and meet the requirements of food and other sensitive packaging applications.
Its migration optimized inks have been specifically designed for use in UV printing applications.
The company will also exhibit latest developments of metallic inks and different OPVs from its Sicura Nutriflex LEDTec range, which are developed for food and pharma packaging applications.
Sicura Jet low-odor non-CMR UV-inkjet inks can be used for printing labels for household, hygiene and industrial packaging applications.

Siegwerk BU narrow web product manager Rolf Montag said: “Our newest developed ink series for UV flexo printing is called Sicura Nutriflex PRO. It offers highly pigmented colors that are HD-certified while being suitable for all food and pharma-related applications.”
In March this year, Siegwerk agreed to acquire Schekolin's business unit, Plastic Tubes and Laminates.
Liechtenstein-based Schekolin provides packaging coatings for global packaging manufacturers in the food, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
