The sixth edition of the Peruvian textile exhibition ‘Expotextil Peru 2012’ is going to be held in the western South American nation’s capital ‘Lima’ from October 25 to 28, 2012.
The fair serves as a business and promotional platform for the country’s textile and clothing industry.
The expo offers a commercial opportunity to the country’s small, medium and large-sized textile manufacturers and suppliers to exhibit their products and expand their network of contacts.
Other than fibres, yarns and fabrics, the fair will also display a range of machinery, equipment, accessories and spare parts for textile and garments.
On the sidelines of the fair, several conferences involving discussions on various innovative topics related to the textile and clothing industry, such as new technologies, processes, trends and management systems in production and services, will also take place.
Apart from exhibits and conferences, the expo will also present gala fashion shows by a number of young and experienced fashion designers.
The four-day event will be sponsored by the National Society of Industries (SNI) Textile Board and Peru's Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperu), Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) and Association of Fairs (Afep).
