US-based establishment Avery Brewing has extended its on-going partnership with MicroStar Logistics.
The move comes as Avery is planning to move its operations into a $27m, 96,000ft2 brewery in Boulder, Colorado.
MicroStar has been providing keg logistics and management services to Avery Brewing since 2003.
Avery Brewing has reduced its carbon footprint by over 65,000 kg of CO2 emissions over the past 12 months alone, by choosing MicroStar instead of owning its own kegs.
Commenting on the extension, Avery Brewing founder and CEO Adam Avery said: "We see the MicroStar team as an extension of our brewery.
"Their pooled-keg model, national scale and commitment to customer service are the perfect fit for Avery Brewing and we're excited to continue our long-standing partnership well into the future."
Besides handling the supply-chain complexity associated with keg logistics, MicroStar is also responsible for repair and maintenance of its fleet of kegs.
