The Scotch whisky brand briefed JDO to simplify and find an engaging way to communicate the story and history of the brand.
JDO focused on the two characters, ‘Mr Hankey’ and ‘Mr Bannister’ to communicate the name. It also created a new brand proposition ‘Substance with Style’. JDO came up with two opposing patterns reflecting the different personalities of the two men.
