Chung Hung Steel Hikes Its Export Prices for HRC and CRC for February Deliveries

It's reported that Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steelmakers in Taiwan announced to hike its export prices for hot rolled coils (HRC) and cold rolled coils (CRC) by US$10~US$20/ton for February deliveries in order to reflect higher global market prices. After the adjustment, its prices for HRC and CRC are at US$570~US$580/ton and US$670~US$680/ton FOB respectively. At the same time, Chung Hung Steel also increased its domestic prices by NT$300/ton for January, bringing its HRC and CRC domestic prices to NT$19,000/ton and NT$23,300/ton respectively. Meanwhile, it's known that Chung Hung Steel remained its domestic and export prices unchanged for the past two months but the company decided to raise prices as the global steel prices have moving higher.
