Xchanging's insurance software business Xuber has launched a fully-integrated claims management service, to meet the needs of commercial insurer and reinsurer across the globe.
Dubbed as Xuber Claims, the platform can be deployed standalone or as part of a fully integrated end-to-end solution with other components and alongside existing applications such as Iris and Genius, or third party/in-house policy administration systems.
Designed with embedded workflow to optimise, automate and measure business process from notification of loss through coverage verification to final settlement, the technology is the first release from a new portfolio of commercial insurance products after the company's re-launch in October 2012.
Combining claims case management, data capture, and transition processing for claims together into a single claims application, the new release emphasises on achieving an unprecedented level of configurability, flexibility, and openness for the client.
Capable of supporting businesses such as speciality niche lines handling, international lines, the London market and Lloyd's business lines, Xuber Claims enables affordable communication with multiple stakeholders, from repairers to adjusters and lawyers.
Xuber head Adrian Morgan commented, "For global customers, Xuber Claims has the functionality to manage multi-currency claims across multiple regions and entities. It can handle highly complex claims as well as dealing efficiently with high volume and low value claims."
The company provides software for insurance specialists, which are currently deployed by 130 brokers and carriers in over 40 countries across the UK, US, mainland Europe and Asia Pacific.
