Material manufacturer in Italy, Ritrama has announced the launch of its new bi-oriented 50μ clear coex polyolefin film on a glassine liner.
The new Globalflex can be applied for home and personal care products and is said to be recyclable with PP/PE containers. Aimed at contoured or squeezable containers, the thinner 50μ film allows more labels per roll.
According to the company, the benefits of the new material in terms of productivity and performance are significant, while the conventional PE 85μ films may still be the first choice for brand owners, labelsandlabeling.com reported.
Ritrama also provides Globalflex Crystal, a PET liner version.
