Turkey imported 29,793 tons of stainless steel flat products in November,rising by 7.5%from a month ago and increasing by 9.25%year on year,according to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute(TUIK).Also,the country's imports of stainless steel flat products have increased for consecutive three months.In November,the country's import values generated by the stainless steel flat products totaled US$70 million,up by 8.25%month on month while falling by 8.8%year on year.In the first 11 months of 2012,Turkey's imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 328,851 tons,rising by 2.15%year on year.Meanwhile,the imports revenues of stainless steel flat products totaled US$850 million in the first 11 months of 2012,declining by 13%year on year.In the given period of time,Taiwan was the largest exporter of stainless steel flat products to Turkey with 78,829 tons,increasing by 7.7%;South Korea was the second largest one with 41,848 tons,falling by 8.1%and Germany was the third largest one with 37,279 tons,up by 3.5%,all compared to the figures in the same period of a year earlier.
