Ulma Developed New Packaging Equipment for The Whole Fresh Bird Wrapping Market

Ulma Packaging has developed new packaging equipment, Artic Quad flowrapper, for the whole fresh bird wrapping market.

The new packaging equipment includes a horizontal flowrapper, the Artic Q, which helps in making improved version of the pillow pack style bag for a whole chicken.

The system produces ovenable polyethylene quad pack that also has complete modified atmosphere (MAP) to offer extended shelf-life for the packed products.

Artic Quad flowrapper wraps the chicken with or without a tray, profiles and seals the film on four corners for a box-like effect that allows printing on four sides of the pack.

The machine also creates hermetic seal, which protects the integrity of the bag by keeping juices from leaking out and contaminating surfaces as well as other products.
