Serta, America's mattress manufacturer announced that its all-new Perfect Sleeper mattresses are available at Serta retailers across the United States.
Each new Perfect Sleeper mattress is designed with input from the National Sleep Foundation (NSF) to help solve these 5 common sleep problems associated with a mattress -- tossing & turning, lack of support leading to back pain, sleeping too hot or too cold, partner disturbance and mattress roll-off or sag.
Serta and the NSF first joined forces in 2011 on this groundbreaking industry partnership to promote better sleep through optimal product design and enhanced public education.
Today, Serta has redesigned its Perfect Sleeper mattresses from the inside out with input from the NSF, bringing some of the latest comfort and support features, including gel memory foam and adjustable foundation compatibility in select models, to consumers at affordable prices.
Each Perfect Sleeper mattress carries the designation of the "Only Official Mattress of the National Sleep Foundation" and comes with the NSF's Guide to Sleeping Well, an educational booklet covering the basics of healthy sleep.
Mattress shoppers can choose from three new Perfect Sleeper mattress collections:
SmartSurface: Elite models feature Serta's exclusive SmartSurface with MicroSupport gel, which combines three technologies, including Serta Latex infused with MicroSupport gel, to balance comfort, support and temperature regulation at the sleep surface. These mattresses also feature Serta's exclusive Cool Twist gel memory foam. SmartSurface Elite mattress models are compatible with Serta's new Motion Essentials adjustable foundation, which offers the comfort and convenience of an adjustable foundation at an affordable price.
SmartSurface models feature Serta's exclusive SmartSurface, which combines Cool Balance Fabric Technology and BodyLoft anti-microbial fiber to help regulate temperature and provide pressure-relieving comfort right at the sleep surface, as well as Serta's exclusive Cool Twist gel memory foam. SmartSurface Elite mattress models are also compatible with Serta's new Motion Essentials adjustable foundation.
Essentials models combine Serta's Continuous Support innerspring with its Pressure Balancing Design, which work to provide proper back support and pressure-relieving comfort during sleep. Select Essentials models also feature Serta's Cool Twist gel memory foam.
With several models to choose from, Serta is helping to ease the mattress selection process for shoppers by arming retail sales associates with five simple questions tied to the five common sleep problems. The answers, according to Serta, will help in quickly assessing an individual's needs and preferences to determine the best "mattress match" from the new Perfect Sleeper models.
"Serta's partnership with the NSF has been invaluable because it has helped us to design a better mattress at an affordable price, while helping to ease the mattress shopping process with our 5 Common Sleep Problems approach," says Andrew Gross, senior vice president of marketing for Serta. "We want the mattress shopping process to be as comfortable as the mattress you select!"
"Sleep is a cornerstone of good health," says David Cloud, National Sleep Foundation CEO. "The NSF is proud to work with Serta to couple quality product design with sleep health education. The world is a better place after a great night's sleep."
