The Company Aims to Continuously Improve Its Products to Provide Tapes

Pressure-sensitive tapes producer Shurtape has announced the launch of its new standard-gauge tape solution HP 235 Packaging Tape, for sealing highly recycled corrugated containers, particularly 100% recycled.

The 2mil, pressure-sensitive packaging tape HP 235 has an improved adhesive and offers tamper-evident security.

According to the company, the optimized adhesive formula results in better adhesion and shear, besides providing for increased fiber tear when the tape is removed.

Shurtape market manager of packaging tapes Bill DeWitt said the company aims to continuously improve its products to provide tapes that meet the highest of standards.

"Recycled corrugate is not an exception to the rule of product performance, so we've developed HP 235 to provide the secure seal and consistent performance that professionals demand - no matter the recycled content of the container to which it's being applied," DeWitt said.

With facilities in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Mexico, Peru, UAE and China, Shurtape serves various markets from painting and packaging to HVAC and transportation.
