The advanced lighting solutions of Philips contribute to enhancing the viewing experience for players, spectators and TV viewers alike, bringing the spectacle and emotion of the soccer play alive. Royal Philips Electronics today announced that the company will light the majority of football stadiums in Ukraine and Poland, including the Olympic stadium of Kiev (NSC Olimpiyskiy). These stadiums are, amongst other, venues for the European football championship this year during this summer’s football tournament. Philips’ latest innovations are tailor-made for HDTV quality and contribute to enhancing the viewing experience for players, spectators and TV viewers. The installed Philips lighting includes pitch and façade lighting, illuminating six of the eight stadiums (Donbass Arena, Metalist stadium Kharkiv, Arena Lviv, Poznan City stadium, Municipal stadium Wroclaw and Kiev Olympic stadium) that will be hosting the games.
