Trias and The Fira De Barcelona Presented The New Concept

In presence of the Minister of Commerce of Catalunya Felip Puig, the Mayor of Barcelona Xavier Trias and the General Manager of the Fira De Barcelona Agustín Cordón, Karl-Heinz Müller, President of BREAD & BUTTER, presented the new concept for BREAD & BUTTER BARCELONA in January 2015.

After stating that "Barcelona is our second hometown - it feels like we never left." Karl-Heinz Müller announced the return of BREAD & BUTTER to Barcelona. The show will take place from 8th – 10th January 2015 on the grounds of the remarkable Fira De Barcelona under the motto "Always the Sun". Nearly 100.000 sqm are reserved for the tradeshow for selected brands. The Mayor Xavier Trias welcomed BREAD & BUTTER stating "We are proud that this great fashion event is back in Barcelona. It's a wonderful support for our commerce and the reputation of the city."

Córdon: "It's a great honor for us to welcome this tradeshow for selected brands in January 2015. We take it as a great challenge and will entirely support Karl-Heinz Müller and his team in realizing the Fashion Grand Slam. We are committed to give our best effort to make this event a huge success! The Fira De Barcelona will always support BREAD & BUTTER wherever we can."

Puig: "BREAD & BUTTER will strengthen and support our tourism, fashion, commerce and innovation sectors. The Grand Slam enables us to show the international fashion world what Barcelona has to offer. It is a fresh and new spring for us!"

Barcelona will be the international season kick-off! However, BREAD & BUTTER will stick to its base and come back to the former Airport Berlin-Tempelhof for the summer show, with exact dates still to be announced but most likely to be in early summer.

2015 will also mark the first venture of BREAD & BUTTER in Asia. The tradeshow will take place in Seoul, South Korea for the first time from 3rd - 5th September 2015.

"We chose the three most important cities in the world for youth culture and Street and Urban Wear. One city is still missing to complete the 'Grand Slam'." says Karl-Heinz Müller and hinted at the American continent as possible home to a fourth BREAD & BUTTER.
