It's reported that Korean steel giant Posco has completed the first phase of its high-grade galvanized steel sheet projects in Shunde in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong. The investment for the overall project is expected to hit US$3 billion. Posco initiated the first phase of the construction work in March, 2012 with investment of US$298 million. It's expected that the output of galvanized steel sheets from the first phase would reach 220,000 tons. Furthermore, the annual production of galvanized steel sheets of the overall project is predicted to hit 450,000 tons by 2015 and the sales may reach RMB2.66 billion.
